About the Reno Burners Guide
Reno Burners Guide (RBG) is the progeny of a similar resource on Burning Man’s website from the 1990’s until 2015, created and managed by a handful of area Burners for the world Burner community.
Similar in intention, production, and design, RBG is advertisement- and cost-free, and is of no personal profit to anyone.
All Burners need resources in the region on their journey to Burning Man. Especially the one-third of Black Rock City’s population who have never been to the playa, let alone the region.
Given its proximity to the playa, the area has more Burners per capita than any other metropolis on the planet, and most businesses are owned, managed or staffed by (at least some) Burners.
You will find pretty much anything and everything you need in the region without feeling singled out or exploited, and you may even save on gas and hassle by doing so, while also benefiting the local economy and culture.
And your collective impact is bigger, and more lasting, upon the region than pretty much any other holiday or event, including Xmas.
Please keep it tidy.
Special thanks to Jane Lyons, Megan Miller, Masha Oguinskaia, Marnee Benson, Erika Wesnousky, Joe Childs, Maria Partridge, Tasha Courtney, Jennifer Cunningham, and many others for their assistance in supporting this resource for the world Burner community.
