Carter Bros. Ace Hardware

Open Mon-Sat 8am-6:30pm, Sun 11am-5pm. Call ahead for later hours during Burning Man. Owned and operated by burners, one of the few hardware stores in town that is independently seeking to meet the shade and camping needs of the burning man participant. Stocking up on a wide variety of playa-specific hardware, camping, and lighting needs. Tents, sleeping bags, Yeti coolers, tarps, conduit, pvc, wood, tools, solar showers, solar pathway lights, headlamps, water jugs, and crank flashlights are just some of the items to be found here.

The Corner Store

Open daily 8am-6pm. Call ahead for possible after-hours appointment and further info. Located at the heart of town, at the corner of 299 and County Road 1 (Main Street). Primarily a hardware store, including camping supplies, with very hospitable service.

Nevada Container Supply

Poofer Supply
Poofer Supply is an online store owned and operated by Reno burners, specializing in propane parts and fittings for flame effects. They also provide expert flame effect consultation. Order or contact them via their website and get a prompt response. Orders are shipped within 24 hours. But by pre-arrangement they may also be able to hand deliver your order to you while you’re passing through.

Open Mon-Fri 9am-6pm. Focused primarily on event survival supplies, this place has many things for life on the playa. Solar generators and panels, crank lanterns and flashlights, headlamps, sun ovens, 3.5 gallon water bricks and spigots, 55 gallon drums, camelbaks and water packs, bucket toilets, tents, privacy tents, ready-to-eat meals, backpacks, emergency blankets, cots and mats, medical supplies, megaphones, and walkie-talkies.

REI

Reno Hexayurt
