Wadsworth

Nestled along the big bend of the Truckee River, Wadsworth is on the southern end of the Pyramid Lake Paiute tribal reservation and 100 miles away from Black Rock City. Along with its sister town Nixon, 17 miles to the north, the community’s residents have been very supportive of Burning Man over its history and are happy to see us. Also the beginning of America’s Solar Highway, thanks in part to the efforts of Black Rock Solar. In addition to the I-80 Smoke Shop – one of your very last chances to get gas and a few supplies – you’re likely to find several pop-up food stands along the way, as well as a community car wash, next to the Natchez School, care of The Sacred Visions Powwow Committee. For further information on Wadsworth and the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, go to here.
